Equine Kinesiology & Equine Body Therapy

My latest passion is working in the equine field. I have always had a burning passion to be around horses, not so much to ride them, but more to communicate with them. By combining Kinesiology and Body Techniques, I enjoy working with horses to get to the bottom of what they are experiencing.

Both Equine Body therapy and Equine Kinesiology aim to support the horse's physical health, enhance performance, and promote overall wellness. They utilize non-invasive techniques and observations of the horse's body and conversations with the owner to facilitate healing and improve function.

Equine Body Therapy is a holistic, non-invasive form of bodywork that involves stimulating certain points on the horse to bring about a release, aiming to stimulate muscles, nerves, and connective tissues and release deep seated tension. The goal is to prompt the body's natural healing response, relieve tension, and improve overall wellbeing. This technique is often used to address various issues in horses, including musculoskeletal problems, stress, and injuries.

Equine Kinesiology involves assessing a horse's body by observing its movement patterns and muscular structure as well as gaining insight into behavioral issues that may be arising from underlying issues. These sessions can be used to improve a horse's performance, address discomfort, prevent injuries, promote a calmer horse.

Within a 30 km radius from Cedar Pocket, sessions cost $130 for one horse and then $60 for subsequent horses. Within a 30-60km radius from Cedar Pocket, sessions cost $160 for one horse and then $60 for each subsequent horse. Please note that I will need a confident handler present during these sessions.

Online Kinesiology for horses is available at a cost of $80 per horse and is carried out with the handler of the horse. Areas that we can assess are changes to feed, identifying underlying emotions that may be showing up as behavioural disturbances, goals for future performance.

You are welcome to float your horse/s to my property in Cedar Pocket if you are outside of my servicing radius and then the fee will be $60 per horse.
